Recently we groomed an adorable 17 yr old little male pomeranian. The owners are an older couple, the husband brought him in. He was very particular with his instructions on how he wanted him to be groomed, but did tell me that I could do his details how I thought best. I was delighted!

Unfortunately he had lots of experience with him being groomed very poorly at other places! He told me the last place he took him wasn't good. His first visit there seemed ok he said, but the second one they butchered the poor little guy's coat! They even completely shaved his beautiful fluffy tail off!

When he came to pick him up, I explained to him the particulars of how I groomed him before bringing him up front. That I had left his tail & head longer, but shaped up and thinned them out. Shave out his throat, so no more tangles in the collar. Cleaned his feet all up, did his body an all over 1/2 inch length...finished everything off with a hand scissoring... I also assured him that IF they didn't LOVE it, I would adjust the grooming at no additional charge to them!

Well, he LOVED it! His wife called while he was here and he filled her in. I could tell she was skeptical. But he reassured her what I had told him.

So, he left to go home. About an hour later I got a phone call from her, and she was ecstatic! She told me (and I quote here) "He's never ever been groomed like this before! This is the best he's ever looked! We'll definitely be back! I just can't believe it!"

Now that makes what we do all worth it! To think that little adorable guy looks the best he ever has in 17 years of being groomed! WOW! Just WOW!
